Lots of Updates!!

Some pictures from the Paulson Family Christmas Party. We always have such a great time and they have such a great Santa come. I was so excited watching Kade because I kept asking him where Santa was, even though I didn't think he'd have any idea who he was, and he would run straight up to him and stand in front of him and stare at him. There were other kids sitting on his lap, so we decided to get in line and try it out with Kade. When we actually sat down on Santa's lap, Kade freaked out and started crying! He wanted nothing to do with him! I don't know why I expected anything different from him! Below are pictures with some of the cousins. Oh, and the pictures with Kade wearing a Santa hat.....Alan's boys used them as part of their little performance and Kade saw them laying on the ground and picked it up and put it on. He was so tired, so no smiles, but he loved wearing that hat. He usually hates hats, but this one he wouldn't take off! :)

Christmas was so much fun this year with Kade! It was so fun to watch him open presents this year. It took forever cause he would pull the tiniest piece of wrapping paper off and have to wad it up in a little ball and hand it to me before going back for more. Then when he finally got the present open, he would be so excited to play with it that he wouldn't open anything else! I would try to take his present away and hand him something else and he would throw some major fits! So we finally let him take his time, which means the last present didn't get open until Sunday, 2 days later! He loved this little car. It was funny when he opened it cause he got so excited when he saw it, that he just jumped in right through the window. He didn't realize it had a door that opened and he just couldn't wait to find out! He was so much fun this year! I love this little sweetheart!

Kade learned how to take his shirt off, well almost. He kept pulling the front up and over his head and then it would get stuck. He was getting so mad, it was hilarious! I was laughing my head off, and he was crying cause I wouldn't help him! I had to get pics, too funny! But he finally figured out that if he pulled one of his arms out first, and then took it off his head it would work. So he finally got it off and he was so excited! The last few pictures his arms are blurry cause he was swinging them so fast from being so excited he finally got it off!

Just some randoms of my cute little guy. The second one down shows him hugging Ainsley, my friend Emilie's little girl. He loves giving loves to little kids and dogs, sometimes momma if I'm lucky :) But watch out where your hands are little man! Ainsley is trying to move them up :)

Kade LOVES to climb. On anything and everything! Hence our first trip to the Emergency Room and his first staple in his head. (No pictures, unfortuneately....I think I was too much of a wreck to even think about a picture.) So he figured out how to climb in his toybox and now he never stops. But he hasn't quite figured out how to get out. So he was around the corner when he did this and I just heard him whining a little, so I went to check on him and this is what I found. I immediately got my camera out cause I thought he was so cute, but once he realized I was taking his picture and not helping him to get out, he started reaching for me and then crying :)

These pictuers aren't in the right order, but this was pretty funny....we have this gate that blocks off the kitchen so that Kade can't get into quite as much trouble as he usually does :) Well, he finally learned that he is small enough to crawl under it. The first picture shows his mad face once he realized I lowered the gate and he can't get through anymore. The others show his sneaky little smile right before trying to go under and thinking he's pretty cool cause he figured it out.

Cute pictures!! He is so cute. They are getting to be so much fun. Mason took a long time to open his gifts too. But not as long as Kade. :)
